Jamie Dack is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. Her short film Palm Trees and Power Lines premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. She is the recipient of the 2nd Place King Award at New York University’s Graduate Film Wasserman Awards for Palm Trees and Power Lines. Her short documentary Penny & Dee premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival and screened at numerous festivals throughout the country. The film premiered online at the award winning publication Narratively. Jamie's spec commercial for Ziploc was selected for the 2017 Porsche International Student Advertising Awards in their "Best of All Entries" category. She is a recipient of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grant. Jamie received her M.F.A. from New York University's Tisch Graduate Film Program and her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. She is currently in development for her first feature film.
